1) Acceptance of the Terms

Scooli is a product of FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. ("FICTIONAL CLOUD" or "we"), which provides the service. These Terms are an agreement between you and FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA.

By accessing or using Scooli, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

These Terms apply to the website, any beta versions and the Scooli app, as well as related features (for example, the community library).

2) The Service and Accounts

Scooli is an education technology product of FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. that helps teachers create and organise teaching resources.

• You may need to create an account to access some features.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your details up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity on your account.

3) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for illegal, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Upload, generate, share or request content that infringes the rights of others (e.g. copyright, privacy).
• Try to bypass security limits, exploit vulnerabilities or interfere with the operation of the service.
• Share personal data of students (or other minors) without a legal basis and the applicable consents.

4) User Content and the Community Library

If the service lets you upload or share resources, you are responsible for making sure you have the rights to do so.

• By submitting content to community areas, you grant FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce and make that content available within Scooli.
• We may moderate, remove or restrict content that breaches these Terms, the law or the community's quality and safety standards.

5) AI-Generated Content

Scooli may generate suggestions and materials using artificial intelligence. These results may contain inaccuracies.

• You must review and validate all content before using it in class, assessments or official communications.
• FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. does not guarantee the accuracy, curricular fit or absence of errors of generated content.

6) Credits, Pro Plan and Cancellations

Some features depend on each plan's credit limit.

• The free plan includes 20 credits per month.
• Prices, features and limits may be updated over time.
• The Pro Plan's "unlimited" access is subject to the Fair Use Policy described in section 7.

7) Fair Use Policy

Scooli's Pro Plan offers unlimited content generation for the subscribing teacher's personal and professional use.

To keep the platform stable and the service reliable for every user, we apply a Fair Use Policy. It exists to prevent abusive, automated or non-human use that puts the integrity of the system at risk.

If a user's usage clearly exceeds the average expected for individual human use over a 30-day period, FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. reserves the right to:

• Temporarily adjust the processing speed or the AI model used;
• Contact the user to confirm that the usage complies with these Terms;
• Temporarily suspend access in extreme cases of technical abuse;
• Terminate the subscription in case of repeated or serious breach, with a proportional refund of the unused amount.

This policy will always be applied proportionately and, whenever possible, after contacting the user for clarification.

8) Intellectual Property, Liability and Governing Law

• Scooli (including its brand, software and design) is owned by FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. and protected by intellectual property rights.
• The service is provided "as is" and may be unavailable at times, especially during beta phases.
• To the extent permitted by law, FICTIONAL CLOUD, LDA. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the service.
• These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to applicable mandatory rules.
